Grievance Redressal is an essential part of a healthy academic environment. Shah K.M. College of Commerce is committed to providing a secure and supportive atmosphere for all its staff and students through a structured Grievance Redressal System.
The College Grievance Redressal Cell has been constituted as per UGC guidelines and functions under the direct supervision of the Principal. Grievances received by the Principal are forwarded to the concerned committee members, who review and address them based on the seriousness and nature of the issue. The Committee continuously strives to maintain a harmonious and conducive atmosphere on campus.

All students enrolled at Shah K.M. College of Commerce have the right to appeal any academic or administrative matter in which they feel they have been treated unfairly.

If any problem arises and is not resolved informally, students may file a grievance with the College Grievance Redressal Cell (CGRC). Any type of student complaint or problem may be presented for official review. The campus hearing body follows formal procedures as per UGC guidelines.
A Student Representative (Ombudsman) and committee members assist students in presenting their case. The deadline for filing any grievance is the last day of the concerned semester during which the incident occurred. Decisions made by the CGRC are final and not subject to further appeal.
The CGRC does not typically provide instant solutions; therefore, attempting resolution at the department or informal level is encouraged before approaching the committee. Grievance forms and related paperwork are available in the college office.
